We are fully integrated into our communities and strive to show off our local breweries. You’ll understand for yourself what happens when you combine a curated local tap list, famous fries, paired with food your mom would make if she loved craft beer. DOWNTOWN GRAND RAPIDS
Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan is home to the original HopCat, which opened in 2008. This iconic location on 25 Ionia Ave features bikes hanging from the ceiling, a wall of vintage beer cans, and pure magic.
EAST LANSING
Located right outside of Michigan State University's campus, this location features multiple TVs to make sure you’ll have the ‘‘best seat in the house’’ to catch the Spartans while enjoying the fries that made us famous alongside your favorite craft beer or cocktail.
DETROIT
Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, that was 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. Our second floor features the Huma Room, an extra space featuring half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall.
ANN ARBOR
We've created a funky environment that pays homage to the city's more psychedelic side. it's completely unique from the other HopCat locations -- big enough, but with an intimate vibe.
LINCOLN
Our first step into Nebraska finds us right in the West Haymarket. This HopCat location features a handpainted mural by Lauren Asta. We're not a sports bar, but we love sports. Want to watch the game? We've got you covered with 52-inch TVs viewable from most seats. Don't want to watch the game? That's cool too. We keep our music on (almost) all the time. Husker games are the big exception to that rule.
KALAMAZOO
Located in a historic train freight depot, this location features a multi-season outdoor (dog-friendly) patio, private event space with a special installation of guitars from Kalamazoo's own Heritage Guitars. We're a short walk from Bell's, Arcadia, and other downtown breweries and beer bars in this great beer city.
KNAPP’S CORNER
BarFly's second HopCat location in Grand Rapids, Michigan features a multi-season outdoor patio, custom HopCat Beer Barrels, and a breathtaking mural made out of local beer bottle caps.
HOLLAND
Our first HopCat along the lakeshore, this location features two patio areas and a tiki vibe. But don’t get it twisted, we’re drinking beer here.
ROYAL OAK
Opened in February 2023, we returned to downtown Royal Oak with enthusiasm. At this location, you’ll find a modern twist on our classic HopCat atmosphere with iconic album & beer label walls - and not to mention over 45 taps of local draft beer flowing daily a beautiful patio on 5th Ave & two private dining rooms.
LIVONIA
Opened in July 2023, we found our 10th home. Our beautiful HopCat mural will catch your eyes (pun intended) when driving on the bustling Haggerty Road. Inside you’ll find iconic HopCat touches of music, beer & of course - our food that is crafted for every craving.
